Our Board & Train program is an intensive, results-driven training experience designed to give your dog a strong foundation in obedience, manners, and real-world behavior. While your dog stays with us, they receive daily one-on-one training from our professional trainers in a structured, distraction-controlled environment.
This program is perfect for busy owners who want fast, reliable results—or for dogs that need focused help with behavior challenges such as jumping, pulling on leash, poor listening, reactivity, or lack of impulse control.

AKC Canine Good Citizen
The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program aims to acknowledge dogs demonstrating good behavior both at home and in the community. This nationally recognized initiative emphasizes responsible dog ownership and fundamental training for dogs, providing owners with essential skills. Upon successful completion of the 10-step CGC test, dogs can earn a certificate and title from the American Kennel Club.
Class Curriculum: We cover essential aspects beyond the CGC Program’s 10 steps, including commands such as Watch me, Release, Sit, Down, Emergency Down, Stay, Come, Stay with distractions, Heel, Halt, With me, My side, Wait, Leave it, Boundaries, Addressing problems, Go to a place, and navigating obstacle courses. Additionally, our class includes off-leash training segments to enhance your dog’s skills.

Welcome to our Scent Work Essentials class, tailor-made for new handlers and their dogs venturing into the captivating world of scent work! Whether you’re new to this thrilling activity or seeking to strengthen your bond with your furry companion, this course is your gateway to unlocking the secrets of scent detection. Our expert trainer will guide you through the fundamental building blocks of scent work, empowering you and your dog with essential skills and techniques. From understanding your dog’s natural abilities to honing their scent discrimination skills, each session is designed to build confidence and teamwork. 🐾

This class introduces dogs and handlers to the fundamentals of tracking in a structured, positive environment. Dogs will learn to use their natural scenting ability to follow a human track, build confidence, and stay focused from start to finish. Beginner Tracking is ideal for dogs new to nose work or handlers looking to explore tracking as a sport or working skill.
No prior tracking experience is required. Dogs should be comfortable working on a long line and able to focus around mild distractions.

Intermediate Tracking builds on the skills learned in Beginner Tracking by increasing track length, complexity, and environmental challenges. Dogs will learn to work older tracks, handle turns and varied terrain, and maintain focus for longer durations.
This class is designed for teams who have completed Beginner Tracking or have prior tracking experience. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, handler technique, and problem-solving while maintaining motivation and confidence.

Cadaver Tracking introduces dogs to human remains detection in a controlled, professional training environment. Dogs will be taught scent recognition, source identification, and focused searching skills while working closely with their handler.
This class is appropriate for experienced tracking teams interested in advanced scent work applications. Must have completed Advanced Tracking class. Class times may adjust slightly to accommodate training conditions and scenarios.

More About Our Accommodations…
Dog suites are heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer, with unrestricted access to the outside during the daytime. Customize your dog’s stay by including additional play times, or opt for an endurance walk on the property. Treats come standard, and every pet gets a goody at bedtime. Dogs from the same family can room together in our family suites.
Our proprietary blend sanitizing solution, coupled with power washing all suites once a day, helps to eliminate illnesses and viruses. Our play yard is composed of washed gravel, and it is sanitized daily as well. Each dog that enters the facility must have their Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella, Lepto and Canine Influenza vaccinations. We do not make exceptions to this. We also keep a constant flow of fresh air throughout the kennels and ensure all dogs get ample time outside.
